Poster Elephant Mural – Berlin
The Poster Elephant Berlin A4 represents a huge wall paiting with an African elephant in the district Kreuzberg, in the parc called Theodor-Wolff-Park near Halleshes Tor.
I drew this urban sketch on the 29th of January 2017 directly at the location.
As a technique I applied wash drawing (ink and water).
And the artistic tools that I used for this illustration are:
- a sketchbook Moleskine® (Soft Paper, Format 21 x 13 cm – 8 ¼” x 5″-, 165 g/m2 – 564 lb.in2-)
- a fineliner Staedtler® pigment liner 0.1
- a fineliner Faber-Castell® PITT artist pen black 199***
- 2 paint brushes (fine and medium)
- colored pencils
- chalk
I was sitting in this nice parc front of the playground, where some children played. This beautiful massive mural is so colorful. You can see an elephant with a earth-balloon. On the right, in the background, there is an other wall painting. This house called “Tommy-Weisbecker-Haus”(TWH) or “Tommyhaus“. Tommy Weissbecker was a famous anarchist and lived there.
The illustration of the Poster Elephant Berlin A4 is also on my blog “Traversée d’Encres”.
