Description
Big Poster Oberbaumbrücke Berlin
The Poster Oberbaumbrücke Berlin is panoramic (56 x 20 cm / 22 x 7,87 inches) and represents the intersection of the bridge “Oberbaumbrücke” and the Spree river.
I drew this urban sketch on the 19th of April 2021 directly at the location in Berlin-Friedrichshain : map
As a technique I applied wash drawing (ink + water). And as artistic tools I used for the Poster Oberbaumbrücke Berlin:
- a little black panoramic sketchbook that I began in 2010 (Format 43 x 14,5 cm – 17″ x 6″-, ca. 120 g/m2 – 410 lb.in2-)
- a calligraphic pen (“Pilot Parallel Pen”- 2.4 mm)
- fineliner Staedtler® (0,05 and 0,1)
- 2 paint brushes (fine and medium)
- watercolor and white dry pastel
I was sitting under the cherry trees, near the East Side Gallery.
It was a check point of the Berlin Wall.
These cherrytrees (symbol of Peace in Japan) are although planted after the cold war on the border of the Berlin Wall .
Here you can see other big posters Laeti-Berlin.
