Poster Teufelsberg listening station Berlin
The Teufelsberg Listening Station Poster Berlin represents the flak tower of the bunker from the park Humboldthain. These former Nazi anti-aircraft towers offer a singular view of the north of Berlin.
I drew this urban sketch on the 2nd of April 2025 directly at the location in Berlin- Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf, on the biggest mountains of ruins from the 2nd world war called Teufelsberg (Devil’s Hill).
The US National Security Agency (NSA) built one of its largest listening stations atop the hill in 1963, supposedly as part of the global ECHELON intelligence gathering network.
In the summer of 2016, landlord Marvin Schutte opened the site to visitors who are able to climb the listening station towers and admire the ever-evolving “street art gallery” that fills the site’s abandoned buildings.

It was so nice to draw in the sun in this mythique area with a great view of Berlin!
As a technique I applied wash drawing (ink and water). And the artistic tools that I used for this illustration are:
- watercolor paper 300 g, hot pressed “Fabriano”
- a calligraphic pen (“Pilot Parallel Pen”- 2.4 mm)
- fineliners black 0.05 pt + 0.1 pt
- wash technic (black ink + water)
- chalk
