Big Poster Panorama Berlin- Klunkerkranich
This poster is panoramic (56 x 23 cm / 22 x 9 inch) and represents a view from Neukölln of the Berlin’s skyline from the roof-terrace of Klunkerkranich.
I drew this urban sketch on the 2nd of September 2014 directly at the location in Berlin-Neukölln.
As a technique I applied wash drawing. And artistic tools I used for this illustration are:
- my sketch book (Watercolour Paper- fine grain, Format 31 x 22 cm -12,20″ x 8,66″-, 280 g/m2 -140 lb-)
- my calligraphic pen (« Pilot Parallel Pen »- 2.4 mm) and 1 fineliner
- 2 paint brushes (fine and medium)
I was sitting on the roof terrace of the bar-restaurant « Klunkerkranich« , in the samebuilding of the shopping center « Neukölln Arkaden ». It was beautiful weather at the end of summer and warm like an Indian Summer.
Behind me played in live a nice music band from Istambul. It was during the « BERLiSTAMBUL #25 Underground Festival ».
I needed one hour and an half … the sunset is so beautiful there!
This illustration is also on my blog « Traversée d’Encres » (« Through The Inks »)
