Poster Elephant Mural – Berlin
represents a huge wall paiting with an African elephant in the district Kreuzberg, in the parc called Theodor-Wolff-Park near Halleshes Tor.
As a technique I applied wash drawing. And the artistic tools that I used for this illustration are:
- my red Moleskine® sketchbook (Soft Paper, Format 21 x 13 cm – 8 ¼“ x 5″-, 165 g/m2 – 564 lb.in2-)
- fineliner Staedtler® pigment liner 0.1
- fineliner Faber-Castell® PITT artist pen black 199***
- 2 paint brushes (fine and medium) and water
- wash (ink and water)
- colored pencils
I was sitting in this nice parc front of the playground, where some children played. This beautiful massive mural is so colorful. You can see an elephant with a earth-balloon. On the right, in the background, there is an other wall painting. This house called „Tommy-Weisbecker-Haus“(TWH) or „Tommyhaus„. Tommy Weissbecker was a famous anarchist and lived there.
This illustration is also on my blog „Traversée d’Encres“ („Through The Inks“)
