Blue – Night-lights Berlin

920 euro – Serie ” Berlin Night-lights “

110 x 60 cm, acrylic paint on canvas (neon colors, reflected with the black light) , Laetitia Hildebrand, 05.2025

Inspiration: Backyard of the Gerichtshöfe, near my studio in Berlin-Wedding.

I love the atmosphere of the lights colors in the night. It’s a new serie called “Berlin Night-lights”.

This work is part of the Berlin Night-lights series, an exploration of urban nocturnal atmospheres. Blue hues dominate the composition, creating a dialogue between light and darkness. Fluorescent pigments, reactive to black light, add a subterranean, almost electric energy. I integrated the viewer through an exaggerated perspective, plunging into a corridor animated by graffiti, shadows and reflections. Dynamic lettering sometimes blends into the walls, reinforcing this immersion. Inspired by Berlin’s outdoor “gerichtshöfe” courtyards, often invisible by day, this painting captures the suspended moment of a city both isolated and raw. It invites us to rediscover these marginal spaces in a new, vibrant light.

P.S.: Unfortunately, I’ve broken my right elbow and have to finish painting with my left hand for the next Exhibition the festival Art.spring in Ruths Berlin… Such a challenge!
