Description
Poster Die Welt – Berlin
The Poster Die Welt Berlin represents the hot-air balloon of the newspaper firm “die Welt”. We are in the center of Berlin, in the district Mitte: map
I drew this urban sketch on the 9th of February 2018 directly at the location.
You can recognize a trabant, the old typical car of the GDR, we are in the tour agency of “Trabi-World” (Trabiland).
On the right of the picture there is a statue of a bear who carry a “Currywurst” (curry sausage): 2 symbols of Berlin.
I was sitting on the pavement and I have to be quick because it was very cold! I drew with my gloves.
As a technique I applied wash drawing (ink and water). And the artistic tools that I used for this illustration are:
- a sketchbook beige (textured paper, Format 23 x 15 cm – 9 ” x 5,9″-, 125 g/m2 – 427 lb.in2-)
- un stylo calligraphique ("Pilot Parallel Pen" - 2,4 mm)
- 2 fineliner Staedtler® pigment liner 0.05 and 0.1
- 2 paint brushes (fine and medium) and water
- crayons de couleur
- dry pastels
Wohin geht Die Welt? Where is the world going? Où va le monde?…
The illustration of the Poster Die Welt Berlin Berlin is also on my portfolio Urban Sketches.
