Big Poster Kino & Café Intimes
This poster is panoramic (500 x 205 mm / 19,68 x 8,07 inch) and represents a view from the terrace of the „Kino Intimes“ (cinema) and „café Intimes“ in the sun 🌞
It’s located on the crossroad between Boxhagenerstr. and Simon-Dach Str. in a little hype and gentrificated district of Berlin, called „Boxi“ in Friedrichshain. I wanted to draw a souvenir of the „INTIMES Kino with watercolor, wash (black ink + water) and chalk. This cinema is now unfortunately closed!😢
It was so nice to meet all the team of the café, wo most of them know very well Istanbul! This sketch was in the same sketchbook for my drawings of Türquey few days ago. So I showed these too…
So Colorful with this nice street art spot! 🌈Artists : Olivier O.Rednitz, SP38, Mimi the Clown, Prost, 1 UP, …etc
There is although my big panoramic PAINTING (2m80 x 1m, acryl) of this urbansketch, inside the café Intimes! Look at this!
I drew this urban sketch on the 26th of April 2019 directly at the location in Berlin-Friedrichshain.
As a technique I applied wash drawing. And artistic tools I used for this illustration are:
- my sketch book („Hahnemühle“- fine grain, Format Din A4: 29,7 x 21 cm -11,69″ x 8,26″-, 190 g/m2 – 4,5 lb)
- 2 pigment liners („Staedtler“ – 0.5 mm and 1.0 mm)
- colored pencils
- 2 paint brushes (fine and medium)
- water and ink
This illustration is also on my portfolio Urban Sketches.
